I’ve been thinking about giving my readers a survey lately to make sure I’m doing my job right. I’ve created a survey for you to take where you are going to be able to pick my brain.

You’ll be able to ask me, up to three questions about making money online, tell me what you’d like to see me cover here in the newsletter, and rate me. Yes, you can actually give me 1-5 stars according to what you think about my products and the information I give you.

Surveys should be used in every marketers business. By having people give you feedback, you can know exactly what they want. Knowing what people want is the biggest battle to making money online. When you know what someone wants it’s easier to sell to them.

If I know you want strawberry icecream and I try to sell you a peanutbutter sandwich, you’re probably not going to buy from me. But if I have the creamy cold strawberry icecream you want, you’ll come running to me for it.

You don’t have to have a list to use surveys either. You can use article marketing, ppc advertising, ezine advertising, and more to get people to take your surveys. Just offer an incentive (something for free), and you’ll be amazed at the results you’ll get.

The survey I did above is just to see what kind of free content my reader wants. I’m not trying to create a product yet, but you can use a survey for anything you want.
