I got an email the other day from a subscriber saying that he was tired of making such small amounts of money from his list. He had a list of 700 subscribers, but he was only making about $900 a month from them.

“They” say that you should average about $1 per month per subscriber that you have. I told this person that, and that they were doing better than “they” say you should. I aver about $3 and some change a month for each person who is subscribed to my list, so I really don’t know where “they” get their numbers from, but it’s a good “rule of thumb”.

I told the person to build their list bigger and they would make more money as time went on. However, I got to thinking about it this, and realized that there were probably more people who had this problem and if you’re only making under a grand a month from your list, you’ll probably need more money to grow your list.

You’ll need to spend money on advertising, resources that will teach you to build your list bigger, and the like. So what if you could make even MORE money from your small list to give you that extra income you need to build your list bigger?

You can, and this is how you do it…

You sell less of more, and what I mean by that is you sell less products at a higher cost.

Let’s look at a recent example here…

Jeremy Gislason and Simon Hodgkinson just released their CMSI software which cost $997. At the same time, there was another launch going on for a $37 ebook that I knew my list would benefit from and buy like crazy. I know my list and know what they want to know and want to buy. Both products were absolutely killer products.

I knew I’d sell way more of the $37 ebook than I would the $997 product, but I decided to run a test. I first promoted CMSI. I made 41 sales and was paid a commission of $495. That’s $20,295 in commissions…

I then promoted the $37 ebook. I made 98 sales and was paid a commission of $18.50. That’s $1,683.50 in commissions.

With CMSI I sold less of more and made more than 10 times the commissions…

Can I do that every day? Of course not… But as I build my list more and more, I can sell more and more high ticket items. Even if I had a tiny list I could sell a few high ticket items a month and make more money each and every month.
